Requirements:

  • Scatter Firmware for XSmart Nova 7
  • SP Flash Tool
  • USB Drivers for MediaTek devices
  • USB Cable
  • Windows PC

Steps to Flash XSmart Nova 7:

1. Install USB Drivers

Install the MediaTek USB drivers on your PC so that your XSmart Nova 7 device can be detected by the flashing tool.

2. Download the Firmware

Download the scatter firmware for your XSmart Nova 7 device. Make sure it’s the correct version for your model.

3. Install SP Flash Tool

Download and install the SP Flash Tool on your PC. Open the tool once installation is complete.

4. Load the Scatter File

In the SP Flash Tool, click on the "Scatter-loading" button and select the scatter file from the firmware folder.

5. Turn off the Device

Make sure your XSmart Nova 7 is powered off before proceeding to the next step.

6. Enter Download Mode

Hold the Volume Down button and connect your device to the PC using a USB cable to enter Download Mode.

7. Start Flashing

Click on the Download button in the SP Flash Tool to begin the flashing process.

8. Wait for Completion

Once the flashing process is complete, you will see a success message. Disconnect the device from the PC and reboot it.
